We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide exceptional administrative support to the Head of Northampton High School. The role will involve engaging with a broad range of stakeholders within and external to the school, providing a warm welcome whilst working to high professional standards.
You will have excellent organisational skills and work well under pressure to agreed deadlines, prioritising workload accordingly and adapting to change. Your outstanding administrative skills will include minute taking, for example in the role of Clerk to the School Governing Body, and you will have a high level of IT competency across a variety of software packages enabling the efficient preparation of reports, data analysis, speeches and presentations as required. You will be a clear, confident communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills and high attention to detail. You will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others, developing effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels. You will also be comfortable in managing confidential material, exercising discretion and diplomacy at all times.
This is an opportunity for an individual with proven experience of providing high quality administrative support at senior executive level, either from within or external to education, who would like to join a dedicated and professional team in an outstanding school environment. The role is all-year and based in school. Some flexibility of hours will be needed, as required by the Head, for evening meetings with the Governing Body or parents, in which case time can be taken back in lieu.
