We are currently seeking to fill the position of Admissions Administrator.

Detail

Wycombe Abbey seeks to appoint an Admissions Administrator to join our Admissions department. Wycombe Abbey is a world class school and therefore attracts significantly more enquiries than there are places. It is the role of the Admissions department to manage this large volume of enquiries efficiently, but with warmth and skill to ensure that all prospective pupils and their families form a positive impression of the School whether or not their application is successful. The Admissions department works closely with academic and pastoral colleagues to ensure that places are offered to those girls who will benefit from a Wycombe Abbey education.

The Admissions Administrator provides general administrative support and assists in the smooth running of the admissions process. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator who is looking to be involved in a professional and busy school community. The role requires excellent organisational skills, an excellent telephone manner and exceptional written communication skills. Database experience, an ability to work accurately under pressure and to multitask across all aspects of administration are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of excellent customer service and an appreciation for independent education in general and the benefits of boarding in particular. 

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per year. 
9.00am to 5.30pm with one-hour unpaid lunch break. Occasional evening and weekend work required to support Admissions events.

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience.
