Post Graduate Assistant Teacher - Lacrosse (with 'boarding options')

Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented graduate with a passion for Lacrosse and sport to join St Catherine's as a Post Graduate Assistant Teacher (PGAT) from January 2027.

Detail

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate who is considering a future career in education, coaching, youth work or pastoral care and would like to gain broad, hands-on experience within a thriving school community.

The successful applicant will play an active role in our PE provision, primarily delivering and supporting Lacrosse, including weekend fixtures. Alongside their sporting responsibilities, they will contribute to the wider life of the School through pupil supervision, co-curricular activities, administrative support and other aspects of school life.

There may also be the option to join the boarding community should this be of interest to the successful candidate.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, responsible, proactive and professional, with the confidence to work positively with both pupils and colleagues. They will be able to work independently as well as part of a team and, above all, bring energy, flexibility and a genuine willingness to immerse themselves in the life of the School.

If you are a graduate with a passion for Lacrosse who would relish the opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable school-based experience and make a real contribution to the sporting life of St Catherine’s, we would love to hear from you.

Interviews are expected to take place on Friday 6 November 2026.

Applications should be submitted via My New Term.
