St Catherine’s seeks to appoint a Post Graduate Assistant Teacher (PGAT) with a specialism in Computing to join our Teaching Staff and Boarding Staff Team from September 2026 to July 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the school during a period of continued modernisation and development, and to gain first‑hand experience of teaching, pastoral care and the wider life of a thriving boarding school.
The Role
As a PGAT, you will be resident in staff accommodation and an integral member of the Boarding Team, supporting the day‑to‑day running of both the Senior and Prep Schools (Primary and Secondary phases).
PGATs play a key role in the academic, pastoral and co‑curricular life of the school. The position is ideal for enthusiastic graduates considering a future career in education, youth work, coaching or pastoral care, and who are keen to contribute fully to a busy and supportive school community.
A specialism in Computing / Computer Science will enable the successful candidate to contribute to teaching and learning up to GCSE level, alongside wider digital and enrichment activities.
