Queen Mary's seeks to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher, with the ability to inspire and motivate children of all abilities, and to stimulate the pupils’ real interest and involvement in Mathematics in all year groups from, from Year 6 to GCSE.
The outstanding candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, leading and developing Mathematics in a thriving Mathematics Department, and will be joining a successful school at an exciting time in Queen Mary’s history, as we embark on the next century of the school’s story: academically, pupils attain an impressive value-added score at GCSE, and as ambassadors for women in STEM, the girls’ love of Mathematics sits at the heart of our School Development Strategy.
This role goes beyond curriculum delivery; we strive to foster a culture of mathematical fluency and intellectual curiosity for all our girls, from the classroom to careers.

Start Date: 01 September 2026
Hours of Work: This is a permanent position, term-time only.
Monday-Friday: 08:15-16:45/17:30
Saturday: 09:00-12:00 (one in every 3 weekends)
You will be required to attend some evening and weekend events, all INSET days, Open Days, Sports Day and Speech Day.
