Queen Mary's seeks to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic French and Spanish Teacher, with the ability to inspire and motivate children of all abilities, and to stimulate the pupils’ real interest and involvement in Modern Foreign Languages in all year groups from Pre-Prep School to Senior School, teaching French to GCSE.

The outstanding candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, leading and developing French and Spanish in a thriving Modern Foreign Languages Department at this successful school.

As a boarding and day school, we maintain the traditions of boarding, working an extended teaching day (08:20-16:40 plus one club a week until 17:30).

Girls from Year 8 upwards have Saturday morning lessons (09:00-12:00).

Candidates must hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Candidates must hold a Degree for a leading university in French and/or Spanish.

Candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status.

Candidates must have experience of teaching French to GCSE
