Established in 1901, QM is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18. We are situated in glorious parkland about six miles south of York, within easy commuting distance of York, Harrogate, Leeds and Hull.
The Estate Manager is a key role in the School's team, with responsibility for Health and Safety, the development and upkeep of our buildings, grounds and sports pitches and the cleaning and security of our facilities. The Estate Manager leads a large, experienced Estates team and is supported by a Facilities Manager and Assistant.
You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of premises management, ideally, but not essentially, within a similarly sized and complex setting. You must be experienced in managing Health and Safety, Fire Safety and other technical compliance, budget management and dealing with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external to our operation. You will need to be have excellent people management skills, project management experience and be confident and proactive.
