We are seeking a qualified Dance Teacher to join the Dance Department at Queen Anne's. Dance is a thriving department and offers many opportunities for girls to develop or begin their dance training. We offer ISTD dance lessons in ballet, tap and modern up to vocational level. These are a popular choice of lesson for those wishing to work towards examinations and to learn and develop their technique and performance skills. There are three examination sessions held at school per academic year.

The successful candidate will be required to teach ISTD and RAD Ballet lessons as well as pointe work, which will be a stand-alone club.

Main Duties

To prepare and deliver lessons as per the ISTD/RAD syllabus and curriculum requirements

To provide a safe and enabling learning environment for pupils across all abilities

Deliver clubs specific for the genre – such as Pointe work

Write regular pupil reports as per the school reporting schedule

Attend staff INSET days, particularly for Safeguarding updates

Lessons last 45 minutes and the post holder will be self-employed and paid at the Specialist Teacher’s Pay rates are as follows:

One to one class - £33.38 per class

One to two class - £35.25 per class

Group class - £39.00
