The role:
Our dynamic IT departments have an exciting opportunity to recruit a proactive and hardworking Junior ICT Technician here at Northwood College for Girls.
This newly created role will see the successful applicant playing a key role in the school’s ICT services, supporting the school with the busy schedule of events, projects and support. This post involves monitoring and supporting the school’s ICT systems and its users, assisting with installing new and upgraded systems and ensuring the integrity of the school’s system is maintained.
The successful candidate should have over some experience of delivering customer focused ICT support. A practical outlook with a ‘can do’ attitude is essential. Experience in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy, AV equipment, Apple OS/IOS and Chromebooks would be an advantage. Desire to gain further knowledge is also valued.
The role will help provide support between the core hours of 8am to 4.30pm on a rota-based schedule, but is essential that the successful candidate has flexibility to provide support for after-school and weekend events/productions.
