Mayfield School is a leading Catholic independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11–18, set within 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. We are seeking a talented, creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Digital Content Executive to join our Marketing and Admissions team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced content creator and digital marketer to play a key role in telling the Mayfield story. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Admissions, you will create engaging content that showcases the life of our School, strengthens our brand, and inspires prospective families to choose Mayfield.
We are looking for someone who is a natural storyteller, passionate about digital communications and social media, with the creativity and confidence to capture the spirit of our School through compelling content across a variety of platforms.
The Role:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the School’s social media channels, creating content tailored to different audiences and platforms
- Create high-quality digital content including photography, videography, reels, shorts, graphics, podcasts and written copy
- Capture authentic stories and experiences from across School life, attending events, productions, fixtures, trips and activities
- Plan and deliver engaging digital content campaigns that support admissions, engagement and brand awareness objectives
- Maintain and update the School website, ensuring content remains current, engaging and optimised for prospective families
- Design promotional materials and visual assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and other creative tools
- Monitor digital performance and produce analytics reports, identifying opportunities to increase engagement and reach
- Support marketing campaigns, publications, events and admissions activities, including Open Mornings
Working Hours:
- Full-time, 52 weeks per year
- Flexibility will be required to attend School events and activities, including occasional evenings and weekends
Ideal candidates must have the following:
- A minimum of two years' experience in marketing, communications or digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content
- Strong photography, videography and content creation skills
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital campaigns
- Good understanding of digital marketing, audience engagement and content strategy
- Experience using website content management systems and digital analytics tools
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and AI-assisted creative tools
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- A proactive, creative approach and willingness to contribute fresh ideas
