Edgbaston High School is seeking an experienced, calm and caring First Aider to provide medical and pastoral support to pupils throughout our school.
The successful candidate will be confident and experienced in providing first aid treatment for children. Experience of working in a school or paediatrics would be beneficial. They will assist colleagues in enabling the safe and appropriate care of pupils with chronic and complex medical conditions and additional needs. Tasks will include full first aid cover as well as administration of records and safe storage of pupils' medications. The post holder will also provide advice and training to colleagues, in conjunction with visiting medical professionals. They must have a secure understanding of safeguarding principles, health and safety requirements and confidentiality.

Interviews will take place at Edgbaston High School for Girls during the week commencing 10th February.
Successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview and will be given an administrative task to complete. There will also be an opportunity to tour the School on the day.
